Hi Kay!
Glad your enjoying reading the site.
I hope Uncle d*** enjoyed his celebrations, it sounds as if you all had a great time. Did he enjoy Sinatra? Did he like his book? I bet everyone had some fab stories to tell. Oh, I love Al Forno's! Did they get Cass and Rach up dancing?!
The weathers not that great here unfortunatly but at least its not pouring and we'll be in Sydney soon, YAY!
Anyway, thanks for writing. Love to you all and speak soon. Xxx.
Kay
Hi Kim, It's monday morning again so time to ditch the housework and catch up on your adventures. I remember Melbourne being pretty fab too - here's one for you, best view of city is apparently 35t floor of Regent Hotel, ladies toilets! We've had a good weekend celebrating Dick's b'day. Went to see Sinatra (Musical) at the Palladium on Fri and then had family meal- about 15 of us- in Al Forno's restaurant on Sat and back to Woodborough for champagne and cake. Envious of your sunshine having stood in pouring rain for 5 hours at an athletic meeting yesterday! Right, off to walk the dog now - in the rain again. Much love from us all Kay x
Mama
hey sweetie,
sounds as if OZ was going to be right up your street, just as you predicted, cant wait to hear about all the sights and sounds of melbourne - will speak to sara and emma on monday to get their tips for the hottest places to see/visit when in mellers - will be in touch over the weekend - lots of love kangaroo kim! xxx
Aunty Tina
Hey Kimbo
Great picture of you finishing your climb/walk. Imagine Kimberly Williams voluntarily wearing bad clothes and going into treacherous conditions to do something so energetic, you get your moneys worth girl. I'm off to Palma this weekend for work then Galway the weekend after to look at wedding venues. I might have you and Lucy absailing down the side of the castle in your bridesmaids dresses now that I know your up for a challenge! It looks like your having a great time and the hostel doesn't look so bad. I think you will have agreat time in OZ and I look forward to hearing all about it. Take Care and Be Carefull, LOVE YOU LOADS XXXXXXXXXX
Charlie
Kimmie, Glad to hear you still having fun. It is interesting to read about all your adventures, it reminds me of all my times in NZ. Nice one with the Glacier hike, i did the exact same thing, and i would be lying if i said i wasnt bricking it. Keep up the fun, and enjoy yourself.
Mummy
btw, just had to tell you, lucie and i were roaring laughing at your photograph on the glacier when you had 'made it' to the top - it is just the most expressive photo - really great - love ya xxx
Mummy
Hey hun,
just reading your entries for the last few days, sounds superb, had a look at tom's too - bet your heart was in your mouth when you were watching him do the bungee! You'll be pleased to know that I was checking out the temperature in Cairns and it is a very pleasant 28 degrees ( about 85/86) so I think that sort of temperature will be more up your street! Things are carrying on as normal - dad is currently out on a bike ride with Nick, L&C are still slumbering and I am sitting her wondering just what time it is going to pour down with rain here!! Must have been great fun to meet up with Harry and Izzy and making plans for your get together in Sydney. Sounds from your journals that you are going to be able to spend a bit of time in Christchurch which will be good - make sure that someone records your swimming with the dolphins, that will be one experience you wont forget in a hurry. Anyway will sign off for now - love you big massive and text/msn soon. Mwah xxx
Me!
Kay, thank you so much for your message. I'm glad your enjoying the site - I'll try to keep it as interesting as possible. I know I keep promising it but there really will be some better photos up soon. Lucie and Cass's revision idea sounds good (in theory though...!) Neighbours, the trampoline and ice lollies became too tempting in my study leave! The book for Uncle d*** sounds like a lovely idea, I'm sure people have many funny memories (and I bet Dad mentioned the soup one...?! Five pounds please!). Yes tell Martin he wants to get up a glacier; then the 3 peaks will be a walk in the park; my legs STILL hurt!!! Yes I think you should email me when your not the driver, it could be very amusing! Love to everyone, hope you're all well and your enjoying the summer. Lots of love xxx
Kay
Hi Kim, Just had a lovely evening with your folks: Cass and Lucie discussing revision tactics and planning a day together to test each other? We had fun remembering stories about d*** as it's his 80th next week and I am compiling a birthday book and wanted contributions from friends and family. Martin is in training for the 3 Peaks walk...perhaps he should try some glacier walking! Life here continues very much as normal, enjoy your experiences and continue to let us share them with you. PS. I was the driver so am actually sober, maybe I'll e.mail you when I'm not, might be more fun! Anyway take care and loads of love from us all K x
