Hey peeps.... well things have perked up since our last postcard finally made it to sugarloaf mountain and we feel the other day must have been fate as we went up in the early evening and watched the sunset and the lights over rio (lol u would have loved the twinkly effect!) Hey guys, just to let you know we are in rio all safe and sound.... in a lovely clean hostel in the rich part of rio and went for a LONG walk today to what we thought was the famous sugarloaf mountain only to find it wasn't actually the right mountain!!! SO as we were then so far away in the opposite direction wasted all our money on taxi to get to the right mountain and then couldn't afford to go up it!!!
