Sorry, its been a bit since my last post and the pictures are not coming. The internet connections have been rather slow. I have been rather busy since my last post. Nha Trang, was a stellar town and met some sweet people there and rocked out on a boat floating around the coast it was great. I rented a motorbike and drove up and down the coast tons. Stopped off in this amazing fishing village with some locals it was awesome.
From Nha Trang, I went to Hoi an, this cute little town to the north. Hoi An, is known for its tailors and the quality is rather high. SO, guess who got himself two amazing tailored suits??? I spent two nights in Hoi An, and loved it great people and good little town.
After Hoi An, I spent the day in Danang, it was not that great. Danang, is a city building up now and you can see its a city in transit from old school Vietnam to a someday metropolis like Siagon.
Hanoi, is where I just left. I saw Ha Long Bay, it was an amazing wonder of the world it is a mountain range and rock formation in the middle of the sea...amazing site.
I have returned to Siagon, and will be here for a few days then head onward towards Singapore and Malaysia, from there the Big Red Machine China. I plan to spend several months in China I am looking at working in a rice patty for a month like with the olive.
SO I hope that fills you all in for a while
Rock on
Kevin

Mom Good to hear from you. It has been a while. Glad you are having fun. Should I be looking for those suits to come in the mail? I can't imagine you are backpacking them for the rest of your trip. Do you see any traces of the war or hear any talk? I hope you are not too tall to be bending over a rice patty for a month! When you get to China Monica can hook you up with a school teaching English that will give you a place to stay and actually pay you for a while! All is well here. I love you. Stay safe. Mom

Jeanne Hi Kev..It's been awhile since i last wrote but i've enjoyed your comentary very much! I'm glad you bought two suits! You needed something for yourself! I used to work with a gal from Malaysia. Her mom passed away suddenly, but her dad is still managing. She was a very polite respectful person. Let me know when your ready and I'll try to get in touch with her. Stay safe and write more soon! Love Jeanne
