October 9Today was the last day of the balloon fiesta. We woke up fairly early once again, and even though it was overcast in the morning, it must've been a perfect day for flying. October 5 - Drive to Albuquerque We left Las Vegas heading east towards Albuquerque. Shortly in to our drive we detoured over to Route 66. September 30-October 4 Karen spent the next four days at the Las Vegas resort. They had a wonderful swimming pool and hot tub. It was close to the casino and shopping. The temperatures were very hot getting up to 94 and 96 on a couple of days. One of the days Karen drove to the Red Rock Canyon which was on the west side of Las Vegas.
