Good Day Homies,
The weather has been fantastic here lately and were really getting into the travelling scene now.
We visited the famous Bondi beach, although the beach is beautiful and the sea is really clear and good for surfing we didn't really see what all the fuss was about. We both went for a surf here and when i was in the sea i got stung by a blue bottle jellyfish, the sting felt like a mini electric shock and irriated me like stiginning nettles for about half an hour, it's safe to say that i wont forget Bondi.
Clare is doing really well with her surfing and i have been trying to get photos of her, i have managed to video her surfing at Manly beach so check it out on the videos when we upload them. Clare said no laughing or she'll beat you up!!! Manly is a lovely area, the beach is gorgeous and the surroundings are quite unique. There is a surf break here called Bower break and the waves bend and wrap around the point.
From Manly we contimued North and stopped off at a place called Curl Curl. Another great place that we are glad we stopped at. I took Clare out back (beyond the breakiing waves) for her first outback surfing experience. She coped really well and i told her what waves to go for and the first one she went for she managed to catch and ride all the way into the beach and clapped herself with delight afterwards.
We decided to continue up to Newcastle when we saw signs for the Australian Reptile Park on the way. Check out the photos when we load them on it was great day. We got to see aligators, crocs, roos, koalas, spiders, snakes, tasmanian devils, lizards and an old tortoise taking a leak up a rock! We were fortunate to get a photo with a koala and stroke it and also one with a python around our necks. Clare freaked when we saw the spiders though especially the red backs and funnel webs.
We stayed in Norah Head in Gosford for the night and managed to catch the ASP Central Coast Pro World Surfing Qualifying Series. There were some amazing surfers.
We are currently staying in Stockton by Newcastle and visted a lovely beach called Nobbys beach where we saw loads of dead fish, including Puffa fish wich are Clares favourite washed up on the shore.
We will leave it there for now and hopefully will load some photos and videos on here for you soon.
Missing you lots and loving you lots.
Kevin and Clare.
p.s why do they call it rush hour when nothing moves!
