well i have to say the pictures just get better and better. how cool is south america! im obviously totally cheating on the whole 'backpacking' thing. im staying in a very nice hostel, going surfing, sunbathing and claire is cooking us PROPER food. i might have to pretend im roughing it at some point. maybe i could super impose a pic of me trekking across the dessert to ayers rock, dehydrated and skinny...hhmmm...or i could continue to drive my nissan to sydvegas. see you both in 2 months. be careful, or at least keep taking pictures of your carelessness. especially proud of you amy, did you take that hairdryer?

I thought I would write a mesage seeing as Kev seems to always leave them! Having a brilliant time! Thanks for my birthday msgs to those who have left them! I was a bit worried thet Kev was gonna try and catch an Alligator when we were on our last trip - he was really getting as close as possible! Looking forward to our time here in Rio as this is one of the places top of my list! There´s a photo of an Anaconda round our necks as soon as this crappy website´ll let us put photos on - didn´t actually get to touch an Alligator - although I did throw a stick at one...it ate the stick and I ran away. We just arrived in Rio about an hour ago after a 21 hour bus journey, then some public transport trying to speak Portuguese. We´re here for a few days so gonna shake my Samba ass thanks to some professional tutoring before I left...cheers Brend. Adios xx xx
