Hi, Camilla and Rich,
We have returned to Stellenbosch (near Cape Town) on Dec. 22nd, after a great trip from Holland. We met in Luxor and when we were ready to leave from Khartoum (car temporarily fixed), we passed by the River club to see if you were there. Only to meet the Belgian couple; you had gone out shopping. Pity we missed you, but after 11 days in Khartoum we wanted to get out asap. I see you are now in Nairobi or thereabouts. Let us know what your plans are. Did you get sorted out in Khartoum for parts etc? Love to hear your story.
All the best and hope to meet you someday in the Cape!

Rich,
Hope you both had a chance to relax a bit in Kenya before you press on south. Are you planning to move into the garage business on your return? When are you expecting to reach Cape Town? We'll be there Feb. 4 - March 11 and would love to meet up for a meal/beer/whatever.

Dear Rich and Camilla,
Glad to see that all is still going well, even with all the little hassles that have been thrown at you. I trust that Kenya will provide a wonderful chirstmas and new year for you both. I am having some difficulty selecting the right wines for your arrival dinner in Cape Town but I will keep persevering and I am sure that by the time you arrive I will have found the right ones!!
Take care up there (they don't say that africa is not for sissies without good reason) and I look forward to seeing you at the mountain in march (acutally that is a good point when is the proposed ETA?
keep well, love ant

Dear Richard and Camilla,
Wishing you both a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. The students at KICS have just raised 180 pounds for the Amani Children's Home and have depoisted in your account. The Year Seven students were very enthusiastic and had a bake sale as well as a drinks stall. Enjoy Christmas with your family and your travels further south in the New Year. Take care Robyn and the students and staff at KICS.

Hi Camilla and Rich,
Funny I just saw Mary last night and we both read your web site in full today by coincidence. What an adventure! I laughed at the nudity jokes, got scared about the worst road in Africa and felt immersed in the colours of your trip. It is indeed an adventure of a lifetime. My favourite part was the descriptions of the schoolchildren about your presentation (how cute). Have a very happy Christmas with your folks and take care out there! Amy
