Hello everyone,
we have just returned from our 3 days of sailing around the 72 islands of the whitsundays with the added bonus of 10 litres of goon (wine), before we get onto that thought we had an interesting 7 days of hardcore partying in the evening and sleeping during the day as there is not much else here to do... we bumped into so many people who we had met at mission beach, and had a tag along from our coach journey down to airlie, he was a swiss guy called nemo, who had a very interesting taste in quite large irish women!! it has been a very successful week for my counterpart neil, he managed to pull 7/7 which im sure barry would be very proud about, it must be his "Mr Nice guy" approach, "i just wanna chat", you can see some of our sharking conquests in the photos (well done neil for sabina!!).... dont worry mum and dad i still did you quite proud but we wont get into that as we know you dont want to hear about us getting pissed and accidently wetting our bed(we wont admit who that was)!!
anyway the sailing trip, our boat was one fo the fastest boats in the southern hemisphere and our group consisted of 24 people, another group of lads from blackpool that we had a good crack with, two canadians birds, a group of irish, a group of swedish girls (that always helps!) and a couple more hawaains, isreali and a weird english guy called roy the boy!! the first day rained all day and night but thankfully the last two days were really good weather which helped as we visited whitehaven beach (voted one fo the best beaches in the world!), it didnt have a scratch on naish beach boys, your not missing out!!!! the food was really good, the last night we had roast beef which was absolutely lovely and the evenings were spent sitting out on the net of the catamaran polishing off our goon!! overall it was an amazing couple of days and luckily we had a really good group so that night we all had a social evening out on dry land, which again had similar outcomes as the past week in airlie..
we are currently waiting for our bus which doesnt leave till 12.00 tonight to take us to the town of 1770 where hopefully were going out into the outback for a day of soem chopper motorbikes. this morning we visited a great white shark museum to pick up some sharking techniques, it turned out to be really interesting about catching great whites just off the coast here in queensland and they even had a frozen great white, it was massive, caught by vic hislop himself, the sharkman!!
anyway hope everything is great back in the UK, keep in touch people.
