Hello to all those people reading this....hope you are well??? Surprise surprise me and me mate Dave went out last night...we got to bed at 6.30am....we are now sat monging in the internet cafe!!!!!!
We have been in New Zealand nearly 2 weeks now...my how time flys.......we have been really busy actually, well not busy in the way you guys know, but busy by our standards!!!!
Our last few days in Sydney went spent living it up and saying emotional goodbyes to all the wicked people we met!!!! We also went to the Blue Mountains which was an amazing experience!!! Had a pretty cool flight here, some wicked views out of the plane (check out the photos)!! Was weird arriving at the airport seing the signs saying Christchurch, twinned with Christchurch, Dorset, England!!!????? Was also a bit of a shock to have cold weather!!! As you will see from the photos, beaters and boardies have gone away and beanies and big jumpers have come out to play!!! New Zealand is very english, especially Christchurch. Christchurch was nice, not much going on tho!! Spent our time there bumping into familar faces, frequenting the casino and sorting out our road trip!!!  At the end of our first week our travelling buddy (Hannah) from Fraser Island arrived, so the team was ready to hit the road in Sleazy Suzy our Nissan Sunny hire car!!!!
We left Christchurch and drove to Mount Cook, an awesome site, we stopped along the way at so many beautiful places too, lakes, valleys etc!! The scenery here as you can see from the photos is unbelievable!!!!! On leaving Mount Cook we headed to Queenstown, spent a few days living it up, getting in in the early hours, going to Casino, winning money, meeting old friends etc!!! Before we left Queenstown we went out on a jet boat, which went through a canyon a 80kms, a quality experience!!!! Also went luging, which is like sledging but with wheels, quality fun!!!  We also contemplated a bungy, bottled it tho!!! Going to do one off Auckland bridge on Daves b.day instead???????
We left Queenstown, did some more sightseeing, then headed to Dunedin, not much to see there apart from some nice coastline and seals!!!! From there drove through yet more awesome scenery to Te Anau national park, there we went on a trip to some glow worm caves!!! Quality fun, pitch pitch black!!!!!! Then the next day we went to Milford Sound which was simply amazing, fantastic scenery!!!!! From there it was back to Queenstown to demolish 2 litres of Vodka in 2 nights!!!!!! So we are back here now just for a stopover!! Heading up the West Coast tomorrow, off to do a Glacier Trek on Tuesday, cant wait!!!!
So that brings you all up to speed!!!!
take care people, keep in touch
