Wow I can't believe you are actually down there! It looks like you've had such a great adventure. Everything going well and how exciting that the volcano blew up with you right there. Amazing photos...really quite professional looking... some of them, haha. I haven't read your log yet but intend to do that next. I couldn't write for awhile because my e-mail was down and I didn't know how to get to your website! Then Frank and I went on vacation to California. We had a blast, you'll have to watch the video quite entertaining! Lavendar Fest was good we did it all on video thanks to Frank. Anyway hope you enjoy the final days there. I'm sure you'll be planning your next trip on the way home...don't forget about Gordon...whewhoo!!

hey the pictures are great. i guess no matter what country one is in,it takes many to change a tire. the town looks like forks to me somewhat. what to people do there i wonder to make a living. the rivers are very interesting also. was good to talk with you will write more later. love mom

Hi mom, I just talked to Georgia, she gave me the website, very cool! Looks like you are having a great time!
I've had this last week off of work, I'm trying to recover from my move as Georgia is preparing for hers:)
I still have boxes everywhere, but it is under better control now, that's ok though we love it, the house is perfect and the location is too. Cha and I both are looking forward to having Gams, Dave, and baby here, hopefully she can find a house not too far away:) We look forward to you being here at Christmas too! Before you know it school will be back in session and you will be here w/ us for a lovely holiday:)

Hey Mama,
We all just looked at the jungle photo album. Wow!!! Nana especially appreciated the many sides of Juan Carlos :). Isaac was sure that he saw many snake heads in the photos. The air conditioned sleeping quarters looked very plush, the bug netting was very nice.....however we all all started to itch. Auntie Chip and Frank are vacationing down in Monterey, Ca. They left Mon., Nana thinks they will be back next week. It is neat to see how many people are following your trek through Ecuador.....very cool. Perhaps you should have brought Harold with you for a family reunion. We are glad you called....Love you
