Spent 3 nights here, was much nicer than Phenom penh. Whilst here we got up at silly o'clock to watch sunrise at Angkor wat which was very worth it then returned back there to have a good nose around & climb it... was v.steep & me being a complete girl got all scared when had to come back down, also didn't help that just as I was about to come down some guy told me that a Korean guy had died last month from falling!! Don't u just love it when people come out with comments like that... Had a couple of v.sad times too as visited a landmine mueseum, where our guide was a 19yr old lad who had lost his leg & both his brother & sister had died in front of him when he was 8yrs old. Also took time out from the tour to visit the kids hospital which was awful. There was this 1 boy who brought me to tears was about 4yrs & was so poorly he was like a skeleton & had lost his hearing etc from being so thin, he was in a room all by himself. The nurse let me into see him so I could give him sweets, he looked so sad. Glad I went though as managed to cheer the other kids up.
