Today we travelled a short distance to Yanchep. Along the way there are huge brilliant white sand dunes on the left of the Indian Ocean Drive when heading south, quite a distance from the ocean, just spectacular! The road along here is possibly the best we have experienced in terms of condition. Today we travelled to Yanchep and on the way we stopped for lunch at Lancelin, that is a picturesque little town right on the Indian Ocean. I think though unless your into fishing from a boat everyday there isn't much else there to do, except relax of course. After lunch we continued on to Yanchep.

This morning while we were getting breakfast ready we had a power outage and as it turned out it didn't come back on till about 3pm on the warmest day that we've experienced since Broome! Typical! Last night the wind finally died down and it ended up being quite a cool night, we even put the heater on this morning! We have had temperatures up into the high 30's for the last few months, so we are feeling the cool weather more than some, but it is a welcome relief. Stopped off for a 'by the beach' coffee break at Dynamite Bay, Green Head. It's so nice to be able to stop anywhere with the caravan and make a cuppa, it's awesome!
