Arrived in Bangkok on the 14th September. Coming through immigration was hell....especially with our hangovers. We had to queue for almost 2 hours with no water vending machines in sight... be prepared!! Got a cab to the Asia Hotel and asked the driver several times if we were in the right place.....the hotel was fabulous.....very swish. It's off season here at the moment and apparently we got it as part of an offer. Room fantastic, staff friendly and helpful but...

Greetings from Singapore!! Just need to let you all know how beautiful it is here!! Tropical trees and flowers line the shop filled streets. Designer labels and the most beautiful buildings everywhere. It is also true that it is one of the cleanest places on the planet! Teresa and I are just swanning around this morning at our own pace.
