Spent 4 nights in Seminyak on a really nice apartment for £27 a night which was split between three people. It had a small kitchen, a living room, bedroom and balcony; the complex also had a swimming pool, which I didn't get to use as spent most of the day on the beach. We got up early and left Ipoh, found the bus station and brought tickets to Malacca which to around 6 hours to get to.
