Day of my birthday, so headed off to catch a local boat to Nusa Lembongan which is 18km off the island of Bali. It got quite chopping on the way there so wasn't feeling the greatest but after an hour and 15 mins arrived at the island. Early hours of the 15th arrived at the airport think it was around 4.30am. Went to the desk of Lion air and brought tickets for Bali cost £60 but was not going to go back by ship so this was the only way. Was a quick flight and flying over Bali was amazing seeing the black volcanoes was amazing. Landing was great as it looks like you're going to land in the sea as the landing strip is so close to the water.

After day two of the tour I caught a night bus back to Makassar with Else and Kristian. Took less than 8 hours as I remember going to toilet on one stop and then the next thing I knew we arrived at the airport in Makassar at 4.30 in the morning. Spent 2 days in Rantepao and went on a two day tour around Tanah Toraja. Basically it consisted of visiting the local village and it is famous for its funerals. The funerals are held for 4 days however the dead is kept in a coffin inside the house until they have enough money for the funeral and have all the family attending. Got to the capital of Sulawesi early than expected. Thank god for that and the port was much more organised at Sulawesi when we were getting off. Only spent one night here, not much to do but is a very modern and built up city which surprised me.
