The first part of our journey has been very crazy. Since having our trip to Paris cut a day and a half short, we had a lot less time to casually take breaks from walking. In three days there we had accomplished more sight seeing than most do in a week. With only 4 to 5 hours of sleep max we were determined to see all of the beautiful things in Paris. Out first full day there we went to see Versailles! The building itself was astonishing filled with beauty and history. The gardens were absolutely incredible! Filled with fountains, sculptures, and music. At times the place felt so alive, it seemed like we were a part of a royal gathering. That night we went to see the Sacre coure, a church that stands tall on top of a hill overlooking the city of Paris. Just bellow it was the Moulin rouge which should be highly advices to be visited only at night! The colors are so vibrant, making the entire experience that much more enjoyable! The next day we followed along the same rout that we went on our first night. However, this time around we saw the inside of those places. We started off our second day with seeing the one and only Eiffel tower. Going up it was incredible, definitely happy we decide to do so early in the morning. After spending quite some time overlooking the city, we decided it would probably we a good idea to finally eat! With baguette in our hands we continues our journey to the L'Arc de Triomphe. We were both surprised by how big it was in person. The arc was giant and decorated in absolutely beautiful detail. Definitely a sight to see! We also got to see the Mona Lisa and a several other fascinating historical works of art inside the Louvre. It was fun to see for ourselves the beautiful pieces that fill our history books. We particularly enjoyed all of the Ancient Greek sculptures of the Greek gods.
Today we are saying goodbye to Paris and flying into Barcelona! Cannot wait for warm weather! Au revoir!
