A virtual postcard...

Hi all,

I haven't blogged for a long time... I haven't sent many of you postcards... And I can't spell kangaroo! But here's a virtual postcard for you all. Strict budget and the emergency ferry journey mean I don't have enough money to send you all a postcard. Sorrryyy.

So I'm currently in Brisbane and travelling North tomorrow. We have to get a ferry to get round the flooded area to get to Cairns in time for our flight to Alice Springs.

It's raining, a lot here. They just came out of a 10 year drought. Great! But what's a bit of rain to an English person?! At least it's warm at the same time...

New Year in Sydney was amazing, so so amazing. We spend almost a week there and met some fab people and enjoyed the sunshine. And climbed the Sydney Harbour Bridge! Then we travelled up to Coffs Harbour and Byron Bay and now we're here.

Missing you all a lot. Stupidly homesick at times but I must remember I probably won't be doing this again in hurry!
