Katie
Sounds like you had a load of fun picking oranges !!! You certainly won't become a millionaire doing that job.
I hope you take some photos of the bbq on xmas day ?
I believe there is a drought in Oz - is this true ? If so do we need to bring loads of bottled water with us when we join you in Melbourne ?
We have been preparing the turkey's (yes turkey's) , veg and trimmings most of today - do you remember those days ? - ready for tomorrows xmas day extravagansa. We will be thinking of you and will toast you on the day. We will also try and phone tomorrow (25th Dec) morning our time (evening your time) and wish you a merry xmas.
It's getting closer to the time we meet you and I can't wait.
Have a great xmas and hope the bbq goes well.
Love Dad

oh my god!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't believe it! What have you done to our Kate. Where are the pictures to prove you actually jumped out of a plane! You will be flying planes next! ps. we had some really big rockets last night!!!!! guess who brought them???????????????????????????????
Uncle Pete
Did you shout Geronimo when you jumped? I very proud of you Kate, but not surprised. What are you going to do next bungee, scuba or walking into a pub in New Zealand and shouting England for the world cup (rugby)?
We had a lovely time last night on bonfires night. I took some photos for you.
See you soon Uncle Pete
P.S
A message for LIZZIE. Write your message on Microsoft Word first. Do a spell check and then copy and paste onto STA Travel message board?
Auntie Julie
Hellooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
How are you?
It's Friday and 2.30 only another hour to go before I finish!!!!!!!!!!
I get the impression, from your reports, that new zealand is not up to your expectations. It is one place I have always wanted to go so will be very interested in what you say when you get home.
Tommorrow Jill, sis and I are going Christmas shooping!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It will be weird not seeing you on Christams day, as this has only happened once before.
Do you have any plans as what you would like to do Christmas day while you are in Aussie?
bbq on the beach?
skinny dipping?
swim with sharks?
Yesterday was the first real cold day we have had. I know from your reports you have not been blessed with good weather but September and October has been very mild, here in the homeland. Yesterday was the first time I have put on my winter coat!!!!!
We should be going to two fire works displays this weekend, one from someone at work and one from the normal one round nans. It will be the normal excitement of me running like mad when I have lit the firework.
Do you remember last year the large rockets that grandad had brought went straight up in the air and then came straight back down in the garden, all we could here were the "thud" but could not see them and ran indoors!!!!!
I have an old coat I was going to chuck out so I may make a guy to go on the fire.
I'll have an extra portion of nans stew and dumplings for you!
take care
Julie

I wrote you an absolutely bloody HUGE message last night, was nearly finished spelt something wrong pressed the delete/backwards button and you know what it went to the previous page. I was SO annoyed. so i didnt retype i just went to bed and watched harry potter and the goblet of fire in a strop and fell asleep half way through. as i am now refreshed and smelling like a rose (just had a shower) i shall attempt to re-write it.
It began like so...
Where do i begin? With questions and comments about you would be polite i think.
You kicked a German in the nuts HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA. Sorry found that really entertaining and could in fact see you in my minds eye doing it!
I can't quite remember what I wrote about you. I have forgotten. I am sorry.
Anyway on to things about me.
I left Texaco on Saturday. Was a tramatic experience I got given a car wash and had to cover my eyes and ears because I was scared. Mainly because my car isnt exactly secure; my ariel (cant spell looks good enough) doesnt unscrew and therefore can be ripped off at any moment, my drivers wing-mirror is black taped on - need I say more? and I have a hole in my passenger door where the lock fell out. Luckily Magnus came out clean and completely intact (apart from my wingmirror had dropped down abit but just gave it a whack and it was fine!)
I started my new job yesterday (Monday) - I work in a nursing home called Forest Court - it's right next to Tatchbury Mount. Unfortunately though there are no old people there yet. Yeah work that one out. Its a bit boring though I'm doing loads of boring health and safety and boring courses.
I'm moving out this weekend. I'm moving to Rufus Gardens. I then went on to say something about how if you could change Rufus to Refuse - dont ask i was tired) I'm going to be until (this is where I completely deleted my message) 4th May 2007 - 2 days before my birthday. It's near you so when you come back (if you decide to) then you can come and see it!
Much Love Thank You for you text this morning! Good job I was semi-awake!
