The day after our visit to Scarborough it was reported on the news that a number of Perth's beaches (including this one) had been closed due to the shark patrol helicopter spotting a massive 4 metre Great White Shark a mere 200 metres from the beach!! It's the migratory season for them at the moment. Glad we never went for that swim now......
