Greetings from Laos. On Friday and Saturday I had the best 2 days I have had since being away. They were action packed days in Vang Vieng. To start the first day the 6 of us in the group hired a tuk tuk to take us to some caves. We had to take our torches so that we could explore inside. It was really wet and slippery and by the time we got back out again we were covered in mud and completely filthy. I loved it! Am starting to feel like a proper dirty traveller...

From where I left off on the last blog, we got up nice and early the next day and went to a town called Kampong Cham. The weather seemed nice so we hired some bikes. The bikes were ancient and didn't even have gears (they had a bell though, ace). We headed to this boat to go over to a small island. I say boat, it was more a plank of wood floating on water.
