This morning we went to Central Park and did some ice skating. The ice skating was fun but the skates hurt my legs so I didn't skate around for long. After the park we went across to Tiffany and Co and bought some jewellery. I got a pair of silver round studs. We went out for lunch and I had a bisen burger! It was quite delicious actually. Oh and I also had a dark cherry soda which was the s***. We went back to the apartment and had a nap after that to prepare...

Today Mel and I broke away from the rest of the group and did a walking tour of the city really. We went to Bryant Park and got crepes for breakfast, I had a nutella one. Then we went to pick up our NYE tickets but to do that we went past the Chrysler Building, the New York public library and Grand Central Station. So we walked from 42nd Street down to 17th Street only to find that the tickets were now up at 51st Street! When we were at 17th Street we checked out...

We went to an ice hockey game tonight. It was a New York Islanders vs Calgary Flames game and it was pretty fun. The Islanders won 3 to 1 and there was a fight in the first period which was exciting! Fun night. We were sitting right behind the interchange bench too which was cool.

We went to the Russian Tea Room today for lunch. It was so good. We got free champagne when we walked in. I think because we were the first ones in for the day. I ordered this goats cheese crepe, pesto chicken ravioli and cheesecake for dessert. It was so delicious! Yum!!! And of course we had some tea. I had one called Prince Vladimir which was this black one that was vanilla, citrus and spice flavored. So good.

Today I was super hungover and it was awful. Should not have drunk so much last night. Anyway we went up the Empire State Building. We had to line up for about 3 hours in several different lines (and that was the express line). It was sunset when we got to the top and it was super cold.
