Hello! I am finally getting a chance to write a little update from this past week. I have been able catch up on some sleep as well as get a few things accomplished while we were home this week. Classes all flew by this week. We had our normal oral presentations in my conversation class; which is always a fun class to attend. Home from our first weekend get away! We arrived home on sunday very tired, full of chocolate and waffles, and ready for a good nights sleep in our beds back in Caceres. Thursday night we took the 4:00pm bus from Caceres-Madrid and arrived at the airport about 5 hours later. Getting ready for Brussels! Another week of classes is almost done. Our days seem to be flying by. Tomorrow I just have two classes and then we are leaving for Madrid at 6;00pm. Cant believe the weekend is already over! Yesterday, Ginny, Sean, Andrew and I headed into town to look for La Fiesta de las Candelas. Its a religious sort of holiday here in Caceres that the people of the town have celebrated for many years. The children get dressed up in old traditional clothing, along with some adutls, and enjoy music, food, and games for the afternoon. Our first full weekend! Yesterday was a fairly typical day, classes in the morning, as well as a hefty lunch when we returned home. At school, we got a tour of the gym and athletic facilities that they have on campus. Dont worry dad, I got a good look at all the bleachers.
