My fisr day in NZ ...I spent it relaxing with Lin went to a strawberry farm to get some strawberrys for after dinner, we also got enough to make 6 jars off jam as Lin had tryed to make some earlier in the year ...she wasn't pleased with so we made jam, this morning she is going to show me how to make muffins!!! In the afternoon we swam , my swollen feet were in need of some movement. Mo played golf till the afternoon, he was nacky nacky nood when he came home. I bet your wondering were are my photo's ...well its only been 1 full day so they will come soon. The weather is hot and it stays light until around 9 pm. I am sleeping very well my body clock is waking me around 3am so I make tea go back to bed then go straight off again. xx

Altogether now...ILOVE TO GO A WANDERING ALONG THE MOUNTIAN TRACK...i LOVE TO GO A WANDERING WITH A NAP SACK ON MY BACK. ... I have arrived in NZ ...the journey was good I had two companions on my flight, one was a 16 year old boy coming back to his home in NZ....he was just like Sam a Giraffe ...tall and skinny the other was A man who was deaf & dumb, so I was his ears when the loadspeakers came on...a one time I told him he had to go to gate no 61 whith would take him to South Africa but I dragged him back as he was coming on my flight to New Zealand(he found it funny) and I laughed till the tears ran down my legs.I also taught him some of my sign language , that didnt take long.
Lin and Mo met me and we are now back in Hamilton ,Have showered ,had 2 G&Ts and lovely dinner all veggie home grown .I am now ready for bed got to rest my pigs trotters cause thats what my feet look like! I couldnt get my shoes on and had to wear stripped knitted slippers with tiger heads on the front, to walk around Dubai,Sydney, Auckland Airport ...that didnt go well with my designer yng outfit. Bed Time ...I have been told!!!so I will Love and Leave you all, Night Night...Kathleen

Hi Kathleen
As I write you will still be mid-air on your second leg of the journey to NZ. Woke to a smattering of snow this morning but it is bright and sunny at the moment. You missed a really good episode of Larkrise to Candleford last night - very sad....(was thinking of you at the airport) You'll have a lot to catch up on when you get home (not that you'll be thinking about that for a while).I hope your journey was comfortable and you managed to get some sleep.I can just imagine you with your 'blankie', DS, good book and a large G&T - my idea of heaven! I am now seriously looking for deals to Orlando, but they are coming out more expensive than I'd imagined. Will go to travel agents in Romford on Saturday.
Hope to hear from you on here in the next few days.
Love you lots and miss you already!!
