Arriving in Frankfurt, we wait at the train Station for Stevens German cousin Mario. On our way to Austria, an Italian conductor taught us a very important lesson: write the date on your Eurail ticket before you get on the train. We forgot to and BOOM, €100 fine. Goodbye from Italy!! When we arrived in Venice, we headed to our hostel which was a little different than the norm, it was a campground. It was very nice because we had our own bungalow. The place was very quiet and so relaxing. Most of the other guests staying there were complaining because it was so quiet...they compared it to a ghost-town, but we LOVED it.
