Well today's update is going to be a long one as we have done sooooo much since the last blog!

We are currently in AUSTRALIA!!!!!! It's been so amazing so far and what a busy last few days it's been, we've just started moving on our Oz Experience bus journey so there will probably be lots of very very early mornings and moving around to come so we will try our best to keep you all updated!

We ended our week in Ko Samui by hiring a Jeep and driving around the island, by this point one of the girls we met on our trekking trip came out to Samui and met us so myself, Becky and Jenny took turns with the driving! We also were treated to an all over body Thai massage! This is where they massage all your individual muscles - very nice apart from when she got to the thigh muscles!! Ouch!

After Ko Samui came the dreaded flights! We had three continuous flights with no sleep! We left Ko Samui at 12 midday on the 29th August and flew to Bangkok, then to Sydney and then to Cairns where we arrived at 3pm on the 30th August so we were very tired by the time we arrived, i guess we better get used to it!

The hostel we stayed at in Cairns was called the Bohemia Resort and was lovely, very clean and nice. Whilst in Cairns we visited the tropical zoo in which me and Becky held a Koala! That was definitely one of the highlights for me! We were also able to feed Kangaroos.

After the zoo came the biggest test.... DIVING!!! Katie and i were extremely nervous about this part but it was actually Katie that was the star and loved the experience! We went out for the day on a catamaran and went to two sites on the great barrier reef! We had two snorkeling sessions and an introductory dive! The dive was a great experience and definitely something i never thought i'd do!! I'm still actually really shocked i did it, although there was a fair amount of panicking involved!

We left Cairns this morning and have travelled down to Magnetic Island where we are staying for the night before moving on to Airley Beach where we will hopefully be going sailing around the islands! The hostel we are at tonight is very different, it's a bit more lively here which makes a nice change! It's on a beach too!

Anyway i think i've babbled enough for now! It's ladies night here so i'm off to get my $3 wine - it's ladies night here so cheap drinks all around!!!
