As far as sleeper buses go the one from Sihanoukville wasn't too bad, arriving in Siem Reap at 6am. Later on we hired out bikes and cycled around the town. We visited the National Museum which helped us learn about and understand Angkor Wat a bit more.

We visited Angkor Wat at sunrise, however it wasn't worth the early morning as the sun was hidden behind clouds! But it was still an impressive site to see. We also went to Angkor Thom which was HUGE! 10 square km!! This was also the temple where some of Tomb Raider was filmed. It's fair to say that we are a bit templed out now.

There was a horrible thunder storm that night- England was having better weather than us in Cambodia!!
