Mount Gambier was a really beautiful place, famous for its deep bright Blue crater Lake in the extinct volcano the town is based around - which mysteriosuly changes to vivid cobolt blue from November each year. Our main reason for visiting Cape Bridgewater was to take a walk around the cliff tops, to the home of the largest mainland group of seals in Australia at 'seal point'. We actually walked along Australia's highest cliff to get to the colony.
