So after a very long journey on a private bus which was great as we got to spread out loads and leave our stuff all over we have arrived at Cuenca!! It's one of the guys on the trips birthday so we went for food and gave him a cake which was disgusting but we all are it because we were being polite. The next day we went for breakfast at a local cafe it cost £2 for eggs, ham, cheese toastie, juice and coffee - everything is such a bargin!! Then on to a hat making factory which was kind of dull but the hats were cool. We then walked around the local markets before stopping for coffee and then getting a sightseeing your bus to the view point of the city. It has rained all day so the open top bus was freezing but we just about managed. Then went to an Indian restaurant for dinner the food was good but we really over order - wasn't up to akabars standard!!! Then we had another 9 hour bus ride the next day to travel into Peru - will tell you all the rest next time xx
