This lady is a good example of a disappointment in Vietnam. We were on our bicycles riding from tomb to tomb when she rode up next to us and asked if she could practice english with us. She came with us for a while and invited us back to her home in a country village for a tea. This photo was taken just before she told us a teacher for her children cost 300,000 dong for a month, then 10 minutes later that a dictionary cost the same amount. After spending a couple of hours with her as a friend we realised we were just another dollar to her. A real shame.
