Hello all,
Well we have finally found a not too expensive internet cafe and have decided to keep you updated with what we have been doing the past week! WE came from the ferry at picton and travelled to Kaikoura where we saw a colony of seals the weather was rainy and horrible so we got up early next day and travelled to the warmer climes of Christchurch. This is a very pretty town with old trams running and we were lucky to catch some of the Buskers Festival with various people from different countries performing and it was very funny we have pictures of one french guy that had a bicycle he was doing tricks but the the bike broke and he rode around on this smaller bike and it was funny his knees were up by his ears! Also we went to the Antartica where we experienced a gale in real snow as well as go on a ride in a Hagglundd car that can go over hills over gaps and through water, it was much fun even though it was a little cold! Next we also went to a unique pitt and putt course that had various models that carried your ball before dropping it into different holes!
Next we moved to Oamaru where we saw rare yellow eyed peinguins coming out of the sea and waddling up the beach to there various mates and chicks they walk so funny there was also some more seals playing in the water was amazing to see! the town was cute too! WE then travelled to Dunedin where we met the other Cadbury's factory we did not visit it but picked up a leaflet and went straight past the factory so now we know that the Birmingham factory is not the only cadbury's World in the world! After we travelled to The Catlins which is a national park that had pretty waterfalls tucked away in Forests and some beautiful bays with the bluest water ever! Also there was some caves that are shaped like a cathdral but they can only be visited two hours either side of tide and unfortunatley were not accessible! We aslo saw some fossilized trees on a beach at Curio Bay this was amazing because you could see the stups where the trees had fallen and in some places feel the wood of the trees in the rocks was really wierd to look out and see the sea and try to imagine that it was once a forest!
We then drove to Invercargill which was a quite sleepy town which had a classic car rally going on through it! We think they travel down along the coast because we keep catchig up and overtaking various types of old cars for example Vaxuhall, and Rolls Royces. It's so lovlely to see we even saw a Riley!
We then have travelled to TeAnau where we went and saw the Milford Sound which does have various views is soo beautiful it's indescribable you have to see it to believe it! Anyway time is running out and most fly we will write again soon with many more adventures that we have done!As you can probably tell we are loving New Zealand and wish we could spend more time here! Hope all is well with you all at home be safe keep well love you all loads and loads kat and stexxx

Hi both of you sorry haven't written for a while anyway hopefully things will get better as New Year progresses.Sorry about bad news katy. Well sounds like New Zealand is a great place and well worth the time you are going to spend there. The scenery is supposed to be fantastic so make sure you take lots of photos. What car have you got now that you are in South Island and how is the camping going now that its back to tented accommodation rather than the luxury of the camper van? Not to much rain Ihope. Looks like you've been to some really cool places, I know Amy wants to hear what you think about it all. Not to much news this end, Dad starts a new job on Mondayand Boots just goes on like normal. Penny is fine, she comes into the lounge in the evening and then proceeds to grunt, snore, twitch and growl in her sleep so that sometimes its impossible to hear the tv. Anyway will write again when there is more to tell you. Keep writing and taking the piccies, take care of each other and stay safe. Love you both loads Mum and Dad.
