Hi all in Lake Taupo now. Really nice town where you can over look the lake a mountain range in the background (well MT DOOM to lord of the rings fans). We went to more bubbling mud at the "Craters of the Moon" was really good, these explode every once in a while over the year sadly not when we where here. We went off to our campsite which was next to some hot spring baths so went and sat for hours in 35 degree water was lovely (like sitting in a bath - not had one of those for a while). Since leaving Rotorua we went past an island in the sea which is a very active volcano at the moment but very very expensive to go and see up close ( so didnt ) so carried on to Gisbourne - this is the closest town you can get to the international time line and is also where Captain Cook and crew landed once. We then moved to Napier the "ART DECO" capital and had a lovely walk round the town. Then we drove in SUNNY ONE (Nissan Sunny) along wiggly roads to Lake Taupo..
