Have finally left Queensland and are now in New South Wales. We have lost an hour due to daylight saving so we are now eleven hours ahead, factor this in mum if you ring! The last few days have been immense! Or as all the ozzies seem to say awesome! We have been whale watching in Hervey Bay, Sunshine Coast. It was amazing to see the humpbacks in the Bay on their migration. Most of the pods we saw were mother and baby calfs. They were sooooo big, words can describe it but I may download some of carls pictures to show you guys though we did end up with lots of photos that just look like water! Have been up to loads since going mobile with our camper van! We have driven all along the Whitsunday coast and have done loads of bushwalking along the coastal paths and national parks! We covered about 20km just on magnetic island where we are planning to live! We have also been to see an aboriginal site which was basically a pile of shells but the aussies assure us it is culturally significant! Just picked up our camper van and it is HUGE!!!! it is like driving a bus! I am sure my licience does not cover me to drive a 12metre bus! Heading down to Townsville now and stopping off at Magnetic Island for some kayaking. Love you all x
