We arrived at Can Paloumé - a very remote and beautiful spot. The gite is a lovely stone built barn conversion with many original features and rustic decor. We love it and have had a lovely day enjoying the sun and the outdoors. The views are breathtaking and we are planning a climb up Mont Capell where we will see and perhaps even cross the Spanish border. P.S. Local wine comes in 2L plastic canisters and is fantastic! Shame we only got one and it only laste...

The route from Arenzano to Saint Raphael has taken much longer than expected due to an accident on the A10. We decided to come off the motorway and make our way to France through the coastal Italian towns. Beautiful views, Italian drivers and slow progress :) After the stop over in Monaco we went back onto the A10 which became A8 in France and we finally made to Saint Raphael - beautiful, sunny, relaxed and welcoming...

What can I say about this place...? It's like private dining with great service and overlooking the Med:D

We have been so lucky with the weather...

Enjoyed our way down south on the motorways so decided to go a little further than originally contemplated Leipzig - currently enjoying large Kostrizer whilst watching Chelsea vs Atletico in Gera.
