We got up early today as we were doing a fairly long drive to Bay of Fires. We left the camp site at about 8 and went to Woolworths to get some petrol. We then hit the road out of Launceston, a very winding road through forests and open countryside over to St Helens and the Bay of Fires. It was only about 170 kilometres but took a long time. We got up late again today. This idyllic lifestyle is just so tiring, all this sun, sea, sand and stuff! We left Greens Beach and headed towards Launceston which is Tasmania's second biggest city. We both slept really well an awoke feeling refreshed. After brekky we went for a walk into Penguin town. There is a big concrete penguin on the foreshore and we took our photos with it. The litter bins here have penguins on them and everywhere you look, shop fronts etc there are penguins. This is a sweet place.
