Holy moly! I am so sorry! The last few days have been a crazy mess!! Lets start where I finished last time!
Well, the last blog was about Father's Day and such. Well, since then... There has been so much more I have done!!
We went to Manchester for the day. That was really fun! Saw a lot of historical things and it made me think about all the things I haven't seen yet! Crazy!
After that, we went to scottland! That was truly beautiful. We went and saw the crown of jewels and boy were they HUGE!! Made me think about being a queen! Ahaha. Then we walked down the royal mile. Fun Fact: the royal mile is 108 meters longer than an actual mile! Ha ha! After that it was shopping time. Now let me just say how hysterical that day was. Not only did it pop into 3 of the boys' head to get kilts, but they actually got them. We all didnt think they would go through with it... But they did. Michael, Taylor (N), and Donavan all got different kilts! Now, all of us logical people thought maybe they were just getting the kilt, but no, they got the whole thing from shirt to socks. Yeah, it was actually pretty comical. What was really funny was when they put them on with their pants on and the gentleman helping them to them that when they wear them for real, they won't be wearing anything under them. And let me just add one more thing. After the look on their faces, the man followed with "you guys will look like men and pick up a lot of girls huh!" At that point, I died laughing and walked out. I seriously couldn't take any of them seriously anymore. Oh, and they made a pact that they were going to wear them all day when they travel back home. Through all the airports and everything. I would have killed to see that! But then again, that would mean I associate with them.... Yeah... I'm glad I didn't go with them!
London! 2 days in London was not even close to enough!! I couldn't believe all we crammed in! We went on the London eye, a river tour and much much more. Mr. Craig told me that even when he spent a whole semester in London, it wasn't enough to see the whole place. So, two days, defiantly not enough! I really wish I could go back with everyone again, even T-Craig. But anyway. I probably had the best time there and in Dublin. By the time we got to London, everyone was tired, but somehow Craig got us all to be awake and alive for the rest of the trip. We went to so many places in 2 days. And you better believe this, there was no busses or cars! Just underground trains and walking. I think we easily walked like 30 miles this whole trip. Probably more. My feet are exhausted. But I couldn't be more thankful for Craig pushing us to go. We all slept like a baby! Ha ha!
My favorite part of our last freeday was going and playing in the water fountain things together. It was a lot of fun. We played just like small children with the disapproval look from Craig as usual! It was probably one of the best days on this trip.
Our last freeday together was amazing. I think by that time, we really were a whole family. We knew each others strong point and weak points, and knew how to pull them out of each other.
I really miss everyone. My friends, my family, and even the new family I gained from this trip. It's really different writing this on another train to meet my family. I feel like turning to the left and talking to my friends, or looking in front of me and seeing kidrick almost yelling at a woman if he can sit next to her. But no more. I will forever remember this group. I really hope we can all do this again. Somewhere new in the world though, paris maybe? Or even London again!! But the only way for us to do it, is all of us together with T-Craig.
Earlier today, my Oma took me shopping and we bought a few new clothes and new shoes!! I'm so stoked! I wanted these Nike shoes, but the were like 90 American dollars! Yeah, not out of my pocket! So I got some that were close to nikes, but wayyy cheaper!!
Now I'm on a train to meet family! I'm pretty excited about it! It's going to be really different! From what I have heard, they are beyond ecstatic to meet me! Time to start another adventure with new family!
