Today we left Wilmington and drove to Woomera. In the morning before we left we went for a walk in Alligator gorge. It was amazing and really rocky. We almost bumped into a wallaby while we were walking. There were heaps of steps too and my legs were hurting when we finished the walk. After that we left for Woomera. The drive was so boring there wasn't really that much to see. The most common animal we have seen is the emu. They seem to be everywhere.
We arrived in Woomera and it is in the middle of no where. We went to the rocket museum which was pretty cool. They used to send rockets off from here all the time but they don't anymore.
Mum asked the lady at the post office and there are only 120 people that live here and most of the houses are empty. When we were walking down the street a few army trucks drove past us and waved.
