I am in HEAVEN!! in a place called Hoi An at the moment and it is absolutely LOVELY! definitely got to come here again with everyone! there is a quaint little market town filled with tiny little shops and there are 200,yes 200 shops which you go in to tell them what you want and make it exactly to your size-we're talking ball gown dresses, suits, shoes, whatever you dream of they can probably make it and in less than 24 hours and for a FRACTION of the price you'd pay for it in the UK! So i have ended up (first told myself that i'd probably only get a suit!)...with....
***A BRIGHT PINK wool coat which i designed the style of which comes down to above my knees but is way below my waist!
***A Blue and White pin striped suit trouser and jacket-(for all my job interviews after uni!)
***A Blue and white striped fitted shirt, complete with my own logo design-a butterfly with my initials in which i drew up and them embroidered on!!
***A Light blue silk/polyester mix dress which has a rouched bow on the top and comes to just above my knees!
***And last but not least...A pair of silver pumps with a turquoise dragonfly on each shoe which i sort of designed myself!!
Won't say how much it cost as i think the plan is to put pictures up and let you guess how much you think it cost!! All of these things were made in less than 24 hours and made exactly to my size!!
However, think I need to get out of this place as i'm sleeping, dreaming, doing designing and shopping!! I have also been on a bike ride to the beach which was fun, but extremely hot! the weather here has reached an all time high,my skin literally feels like it's frying in the sun! and i thought i was getting used to the heat!
Also seen bits and bobs of the historical side to the town, japanese bridge, vietnamese house (which was more like a show room for silk products!) and a temple, but was all a bit boring and a bit of a rip off!!
Off to Hue tomorrow, our guide has just organised nothing here so we're all planning ourselves what we should do there!! think theres supposed to be some amazing tombs and the DMZ, a place which is famously known in the vietnam war as a kind of no-mans land place, and we're going on a motorbike tour which should be pretty fun, although probably slightly scary as theire dirving is insane here!!
Hope all is well in England and the weather is getting you down tooo much!!
Please send me more emails and stuff because I feel i'm totally out of the loop of what's going on back at home!!
Miss you all lots
