Just a quick one to say have arrived safely and already having an amazing time

flight from madrid to lima was long and boring and surrounded by foreigners, then stayed in a hostel in lima, followed by a flight from lima to quito which was supposed to leave at 10:44am but didn´t actually leave until half 4, so spent most of yesterday reading my book in the airport. :-(

met 3 of the other tour people at breakfast this morning, emma 33, david abpout 50 and paul the guy i´d spoken to on f.b (23). emma paul and myself walked miles to the old part of quito today but good to finally do some sight seeing and the whole tourist thing! lol! had a full blown meal for 50p and internet is about 40p for an hour! madness!

all going for food together tonight and then tour meeting at 9am tomorrow...hoping to run into some other tour people before this evening tho so we can have a few drinks

used loads of spanish already and its really coming in handy
