Today I decided to take it easy and just wonder around the area I was staying known as the mission. The bus trip went smoothly and I did manage to close my eyes for a short time. We had a 15 minute stop at 2:30am and then continued straight on to San Francisco. We arrived to San Francisco Bay just as the sun was coming up and wow what a beautiful site. The bus dropped us off in downtown and from there I made my way to the waterfront to have my breakfast! Still not able to sleep and constantly waking up throughout the night is wearing me down. This morning was a slow start and I had promised to Cook my host Rong Rong lunch before she went to school at 12:30. I made my Aussie omelettes using dried Chinese Mushrooms, frozen veg, black bean and German sausage - they turned out really good and Rong Rong was happy. She was such a great host just a shame we didn't get to hang out more as she was studying lots for her up...

Still Jet-lagged and with only 2-3 hours of sleep under my belt it was a very slow start to the day. At about 11am I walked to Wilshire blvd (main road that connects downtown with Santa Monica), caught a bus and arrived at Santa Monica. Up early and ready for the busy day ahead, heading to the train station at about 7:30am I said goodbye to my host Dylan and then boarded the train. The train ride went very quickly and after 2.5 hours I was back in the city looking for a bus to take me to the airport. I found a bus and arrived at the airport with 3 hours to kill.
