After having spent only 1,5 days in hippies' town El Bolson I rushed together with my Italian and French travel companions to Bariloche, situated right on the east of the Andes, only two hours by bus away. A city known for excellent chocolate, immigrated Swiss, beautiful surroundings and Nazis. Right, Nazis. I heard it on the grapevine that even Hitler is thought to had been seen here. I came and saw a mini town full of average argentine people who might make a bit more "homemade jam / pastry / chocolate / honey..." then the rest of Argentina. Maybe all the hippies were swept away on the wave of marihuana trips after they had come to El Bolson in the 1970...

Here I am, writing a short blog entry again...I spent three days in a little town, El Calafate, which is named after a berry, growing in Patagonia. People say, if you eat this berry, your return to Patagonia is garantueed. sorry I haven't written any blog entry for so many days by now. I was busy and did not want to write it because it always takes so much time..So first would like to tell you what Ï've learned so far during the two weeks of traveling in Argentina. It's a lot and maybe you will benefit from one thing or another ;)1. don't ever think of travelling alone to South America (especially outside Argentina) at least if you're female and/or blonde. 2. stay always alert. ...
