Back home
Well what can I say, thought I should update one last time, I know your all wondering what's happened. I decided to come home as I couldn't complete the walk after all. Its taken quite some time to get over the injury and the allergic reaction to the Ibruprophen. I spent several days with my legs elevated trying to get the odema swelling and meds out of my system. Had a lovely week with my friend catching up, not quite how I would have liked the reunion but a blessing she was around.
Hospitals advice was to go to Santiago bar to bar, take the bus, I did consider this but decided not to take the easy way out, was not how I invisioned arriving to Santiago. So the challenge is still on and shall go again to finish it next year. Intend to start from Leon to Santiago 208 miles left to go if I drop out the Mesta which is 100 miles of wheat fields. Shame but what can I do.
Feeling very fed up right now but that's life I suppose. Things happen for a reason only I can't find it right now. Thanks for all the support you guys have shown me and the great messages spruring me on each day.
So looks like you may see me sooner than you thought.

Caroline Oh Jules what a shame. Still, it will be good to have you back in the office! We were all worried about you so at least you are okay and being sensible! Have another glass of wine and look forward to seeing you!
Sharon Hi hun So sorry it didn't work the way you wanted it to but glad you're back safe. As I said before your health is more important than the walk and there is always next year so chin up (to match the leg!!) and hopefully will see you soon. Missed you loads. xxxxxxxxxx
