Hey sweetie! Just thought I'd drop you a message. I'm now in Queenstown and still thinks it's as beautiful as I remembered it to be. Cleaning in the mornings and got a job the other day working 4-11 in an internet cafe, which starts on the 10th. It means I get free laundry at the hostel and free Internet, CD burning etc at the Internet place. Sweet! Hope everything is good up there. Not long til you move on. I hope you have a good time on the 31st and wish you all the very best for 2005. Love, Luck, Happiness and lots of alcohol ;) Love u

Hello Jules, a story of Rene Mackay, very special lady of 86 yrs who is a kind of London Auntie Jinnie..she is more like the Queen Mum I guess. The Racing Post every day, bets every p.m. and when I am round at her flat after the bets have been placed.."what time is it Dave?" about 12.30 Rene. Is it dear, time for a little drinkies You can see why she is much loved. Her daughter in law recommended her to see the movie "los motocicleta diarios"about Che Guerva... Off she goes up West on her own (she does it all the time on the bus pass from her home in Fulham) "well Dave, she tells me on the phone, it was all f***s and t*** for the first half hour...I thought I was in the wrong cinema and it was so dark I could not see to get out. But it improved later, OK.".. What a woman, you cannot imagine the Duchess talking like that, npor indeed my ultra snobbish mum, Repeat was I in a Hotel Mon Desir in Takapurna Bay..or something like that, 20 years ago..near to you? love Dave

Dear Julee - Just had a look at the updated pictures and they are lovely. You seem to be having a whale of a time, as I knew you would. It is so good to know that you have settled out there and, although I miss you here, it is good to read your messages and look at your pictures. Have some more Hoki and chips for me. Not too busy today, so I was having a sneaky look at your photos. Keep in touch. Lots of love. Pat

Hi Jules, so glad you are still enjoying things down there. We had the most wonderful holiday, loads of laughs and lovely sun. We have already booked to go back again in May. Other than that life goes on.We are still missing you. Doreen is leaving to start a job at a new renal unit at H'gate hospital so she will be missed greatly.
Carry on having fun.
Love Catherine

Yo Jules, like the new photos, looks like you had a splendid Bonfire Night and Hallowe'en. James, Helen and I experienced the might of the Harrogate fireworks display. It was like the Star Wars prequels; all flash and no wallop. No, not really, it was ace. Keep on truckin'...xxx

Thanks for the postcard. I'm not at all jealous!!! You're missing all the rain in Manchester! You could have got a pad closer to the beach as well. I mean a 30 second walk is way too much - just think of all the energy waisted. On my way to rescue you.xxxxx
