Hi Joshy,
So good to hear your latest update and to know that work has progressed. How fantastic that the toilet has a kind of official opening ceremony where all those councillor people will be gathered. Who has the honour of using it first?! As Taid said, this commodity which we all take for granted will seem like such a luxury to this family and will raise their standard of living in a tangible way. Fantastic. Oh and please don't fall off any lorries with liftable beds while standing on a pile of home made bricks (it doesn't sound at all like sensible activity). We are missing you so much - it's so quiet without you!! All my love xxx

Hey Josh amazing what you've managed to achieve....whilst on the subject of toilets, you're going to have to come and stay with me when you're back because I have a blocked loo and a hole where an outside one was removed and needs covering up... and it's important that you retain newly learned skills. I see it as part of my aunty role to help you in this matter. I have to say how highly impressed I am that Taid has managed to place a message - albeit in duplicate. Lots of love xxx

After reading your blog I now know that if I need a big hole dug in the garden your expertise will be absolutely essential. You are all doing a good job out there and no doubt the provision of a big hole ( essential health necessities) will have a beneficial influence on the poor people. As the proud user of an outdoor communal loo in my chilhood I know the people will be amazed at their luxuary. The basics are much more needed than the frills. Keep up the good work. Good luck and lots of love Taid

Hi Josh,
Just watched Ireland thrash England! Wales now need to beat France by 27 points to win the 6 nations. A bit of a pipe dream but hey you never know! Hope you are well and that you can get to your lovely warm internet cafe and update us very soon. Comic Relief raised over 75 million last night - pretty impressive. They showed some of the work they are doing in Uganda to provide surgery for people with cataracts. Very moving seeing people who were blind being able to see again and celebrating by dancing and singing. Anyway the France/Wales game is about to begin so I have to go!! Your other mum (Sue) is coming over with Adrian to cook us steak and chips (how good is she???). Ian and I went on a bike ride this morning and stopped in at theirs for breakfast - she made us poached eggs on toast (eggs from chickens belonging to her friend Sarah) and best of all blueberry and bannana pan cakes. Yum yum! She's the best as you know!! Anyway, anthems are on gotta go. Come on Wales!! Love you xxxx

I'm looking forward to your next installment of life in Uganda. How is the bead lady, and what progress on the toilet? By the way my dentist was horrified when I told her about the sugar cane dental "care"!!
lots of love

Hey Josh
Thought I'd send you a lil message ahead of the final rugby games next w/e where England are up for the Grand Slam. Me, Ian and your mum had front row seats in a pub yesterday for the very dodgy England v Scotland game. Will be interesting to see if Ireland are able to stop the Grand Slam... not that I mind who wins, being the neutral Welshie lol. Your trip so far sounds amazing.... but can we have an update on how Phil's doing, and importantly what she's wearing :-) Lots of love take care of each other.. please don't move to Uganda and become a farmer it's a hell of a way to drop in for a cuppa xxx
