Hi guys
us again! We have done alot since we last wrote on here.
Day 6- we flew up to Cairns. We were scared as the internet said its supposed to be tropical rain storms in Cairns atm. Tropical rainstorms? this is Australia!!! I hasnt rained. Its been 30 degree heat. Nice!!
Cairns has lots of rainforests and ofcourse the great barrier reef. You cant go into the sea on the beach due to crocodiles and jelly fish. But there is a man made lagoon thats really beautiful and cool that everyone uses for free.
Day 7- We had a good stroll around seeing whats what. Booked a sky dive and coral reef trip. Still hot!
Day 8- Great Barrier Reef!!! Passion of Paradise Cruise. Set sail early morning and went out to sea to a tiny island that is a bird sanctuary. Here we got the chance to snorkel with fish in the Corel Reef. It was amazing. Hundreds of colourful fish, big fish, small fish and a few rays!!! Was unbelieveable. Than had lunch, then went to another spot in the sea for some more snorkeling. This was an experience of a life time. Everyone must do it!! Coming back the sea was rough. So we decided to sit at the front of the catamaran riding it out! We got soaked! Just like a water park ride. But for 2 hours!
Day 9- SKKKYYYYY DIIIIIIIIVVVVVVVEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We jumped out of a plane at 9,000ft. Such an adrenaline rush! We have dvds for you all to see when were back. See us scream and shout and go mental! In the afternoon we chilled by the lagoon topping up the tan!
Day 10- Were going to have a walk around the rainforest and botanical gardens today, and will be moving on the Mission Beach tomorrow.
We have met people from all of over the world!! Brazil, Korea, Sweden, Norwich.
Getting over the jet lag now, sleeping much much better.
Still trying to sort photos and video blog. We will get the up once its sorted.
Fact- 'The Great Barrier Reef is larger than Great Britain'
Send us some love!
Miss you all!!!
Jon and Gorm
