Well, I'm back in Christchurch and back in Hotel So - leaving for Sydney tomorrow. And in true well-planned style, I've just booked a hotel in Sydney and bought a guide book tonight - some quick reading to do methinks. Being back in the same hotel has somehow made me feel like I'm going home rather than to a new country - I'm actually about halfway through my trip. I had the strangest dream this morning - I was lying in bed in New Zealand, but I was quite vividly watching Newcastle get relegated in spineless fashion. Ah well - even if it wasn't just a dream, I've seen it happen twice before, and being on the other side of the world is certainly good for getting perspective. Well, I suppose it had to happen.
