We went on a very touristy trip today to 'Jame Bond Island'... apparently they filmed James Bond there! The Islands were beautiful, but the trip was crap!

Elise left us today :-( she is doing the rest of the trip in a shorter space of time and going home early. Me and cas went to Karon, a beach resort in Phuket. We spent most of the day nursing hangovers! In the eveing we walked all the way along the beach, in the rain, to get some cheap food (its expensive here!)

We got the ferry to the mainland, then a bus to phuket, although the driver spend as much time looking at the road as he spent not looking at the road!! We went out in Patong in the evening... which is soooo sleazy, lady-boys with their t*** out etc! We got quite drunk as we were drinking tequila shots eeerrrggghh

We went on a boat trip to An Thong National Park today, which is a marine park of 42 small islands. We climbed up lots of steps (more like ladders!) to get to the view point over-looking the salt lake (in picture), then we visited the caves (which we had to climb to get to).

We moved to another part of the island today... and theres not much here apart from a frry port! We visited the big buddha during the day and in the eveing there was a thunder storm, so we stayed in the hotel and watched a film in the foyer (we are convinced we are the only people staying in our hotel... really eery!)
