27th June

We left Manchester airport at about lunch time, on the plane Jack and i go a meal of chicken and chips, orange juice and haribos. When we got to Reykjavic ( capital of Iceland) where we had to change planes, we had to wait for ages and ages. When we got on the next plane it had televisions in the back of the seat infront. I watched the hobbit pt 1, and then for tea we had more haribos and orange juice but this time a cottagepiey sort of thing. Looking out of the window we saw loads of ice bergs a vocano and Greenland - which was covered in snow. I think greenland should be called iceland and iceland should be greenland because is much greener!

28th June

We went to Denali national park wich has the tallest mountain in Alaska in called Mt. Mckinely or Denali. We went to the dog sled demonstrations where there were loads of Alaskan huskys. We saw some pulling a sled! After that we saw three husky puppies, they were sooooo cute and we got to play with them!

29th June

Today it's my birthday!! Today we went to Toklat river it was so fun there but the journey was great too, we saw: three grizzly bears a sow and her two cubs, but they were very far away and we could only see dots. Then we saw two caribou in the snow but they were even further away than the bear, then we qsaw some horse shoe hares running across the road. After that we saw a golden eagle in the sky. On the way back we saw the bears again but this time they were a lot closer so we could see them clearly.The cubs were running about and playfighting! On the way back we also saw a caribou very close and a moose really close. It even went on the road! Before we went on the bus to Toklat a man let us say an anouncement into his microphone then he repeated it and said it was my birthday today because Jack told him it was!

Grandad Well done Josey and Jack a great start for a record of your long trip. Our planet is mind blowing, there are so many beautiful places to see and so many animals and you will see a lot of both during your travels.
