Has been good to keep track of your adventures the last few weeks and your wry sense of humour comes over well! - if engineering doesn't work out there's always travel writing! - Hope Vietnam is as good as I've heard - apparently there is a smart hotel in Saigon (forget the name but is the old famous one I think) with a great rooftop bar. I am told if you waited for a gap to cross the road you would still be on the kerb in 5 years! - Apparently brave strides and a belief in fate and the ability of the Vietnamise to swerve on their millions of mopeds is the answer.

Great to hear you on the phone and we are jealous to death. Vietnam and Laos sound fantastic and we can't wait to see the photos from there. Would love to river raft. We loved the blogs and laughed loads. The photos are brill.. it was lovely to see you both. Enjoy your Thailand tour and stay away from the beer bars ... we just watched a programme on tele about young girls in there looking for husbands! You are too young! Have you been taking the malaria tablets and are there any side effects? Any sun tan yet? Won't need the fleece now then!!! Have a fantastic time and think of us when you ride the elephant. Pig sick you've done it before me and what's more.... we've paid! Speak soon. At home Christmas morning and then at Auntie Sue's from 1 o'clock incase you want to ring. Great to hear from you. We really loved the photos and laughed at your blog entries and Jack's. They are so funny. Glad to know you are having such a fantastic time. Where is the photo of your new haircut and the one of Chan Chan and her friend so we can vet them? Has it warmed up yet? Loved the look of Yangzhou.... added it to our must see places before we die! You do realise that this is the first 'diary' you have written without your mum nagging you. And it reads so much better than the ones she made you write when we were on our holidays. (You know you loved them really once they were finished!). Was the shepherds pie better than the one we make? Answer carefully if you want one when you come home...Are you sure it was beef? So pleased that you're both having the time of your lives.The blog up dates are hilarious,keep them up.They made me laugh.Has your hair grown back at all? never mind no one can see you.!! Thought you might like to know that Villa beat Blackburn 4-0 but then got beat by Arsenal 2-1. 7th in table and looking good... watch it all go downhill now I've said that. We've got Man Utd in the FA Cup at home on Jan 5th.

How are you doing? Missing you loads and thinking about you. Following the trip and wish we were there. Weather grim here....... wet, cold and windy. Auntie Sue says she will send you a message as soon as her computer is fixed! Grandma and grandad have struggled with the blog page so got Sam to help them send an email which you should have got by now!!!!! Technology and the old- don't mix! looking forward to hearing from you again when you get to Hong Kong. Check where your plane to Hanoi leaves from.... it may not be the International airport.
