As i write this i am uploading photos for Singapore and Japan. So you can see what we have been up to in the last couple of weeks. Alex will be adding a blog shortly. We are fine flying to Thailand tomorrow where we are on the last stage of a Big Fat World Adventure.

Brief words from Alex to keep us all going until they reach the cheap world of Thailand;
Anyways whilst you be setting the world of Englsh country gardens alight I too have been enduring a bit of culture seeing as only a few days remain in Japan before heading to Thailand. Instead of mediocre planet pots and greenery though, (he is talking about Wisley!) I have been experiencing extravagant shrines and monuments.
Kyoto was a bit hit and miss and the first day we endured a few problems with accommodation and when we found it it wasnt particualy up to scratch. Although we got a look in at a few famous castles and the Imperial House, where the emperors resided beforing before moving to Tokyo, over in Nijo, the trip was mainly blighted by appalling weather conditions - it literally chicked it down, dampening the mood and appetite for adventure of many.
Conversly Hiroshima has been blissful in all aspects - weather, accommodation and consequent things to do and see We are just five minutes from the main peace gardens, museums, monuments etc all of which are very moving. I have infact come straight from the museum which was overly impressive. We spent nearly two and half hours inside), very humbling and should make for a far more sincere and emotional blog entry.
Bullet trains are fantastic as they zoom along which immense effiency....looking forward to our last days in Tokyo where accommodation is all arranged, as it is in Bangkok, meaning we can utilize the days to the maximum without worry....
Internet very expensive here but i will do my best to keep you informed....
Looking forward to Thaliand - my last stop on this epic adventure...
Lots of Love
Alex xxxx
P> I have read five books, one of which - The Da Vinci Code - in three days....so im always getting some form of culture at least...xx
hope this keeps everyone up to date we the epic travellers
