Amaru Zoo and The big move! After Cristina dropped me off back at my hostel I was off to the zoo! Now it's not a normal zoo as I've ever seen, it's built on the side of a hill with amazing views of the city. You follow a trail, well more of a hike going to each of the animals enclosures which were really quite big bigger than I would have expected! Banos hot springs I took a nice walk along the river on my way to meet Cristina for lunch and then caught the bus up to Banos. It's a pretty nice hot springs natural steam place for only five dollars for the whole day so I took advantage of it and it was really rejuvenating! Banos Cristina and I met up again today and drove around checking out different sites and headed up to banos hot pools for a look and decided I would return the next day on the bus because she was working. Later on that evening we sat down by the river and later watched a movie.

Malacatos to Cuenca In the morning I jumped in the back of the truck and got dropped off on the highway going to Loja. My plan was to try hitchhiking for an hour and then take the bus, a couple buses went by but no one picked me up so I jumped on the bus for a dollar or something and made my way to a Loja.
